 VELVET REVOLVER bassist Duff McKagan has been officially confirmed as a member of JANE'S ADDICTION, after much speculation that he would be replacing Eric Avery.
McKagan and his new bandmates have begun writing their next album, planned for release in late 2011 via Capitol.
