 Reactivated NWOBHM band CLOVEN HOOF have announced that Matt Moreton, the vocalist who sung on their 2006 comeback album Eye of the Sun, has rejoined the band.
Moreton replaces Carl Grocutt, who filled in temporarliy for the band after the departure of fan favourite Russ North.
North had initially agreed to play a select few shows with CLOVEN HOOF despite his departure, but after a handful of late cancellations from the singer, the band have moved on, stating "Not only has Mr North's unprofessional attitiude hurt the band, but far worse than that he let the fans down and that is totally unacceptable. Russ North will never again be asked to perform with Cloven Hoof, his association with the band is over for good."
The recently announced Throne of Damnation EP has now been pushed back to an early April release as Moreton re-records the vocal tracks.
