Ian Wilson has quit his role as the drummer of power/folk metal band ALESTORM, stating that he "had enough of all the bullshit that goes with being in that band".
Wilson has also announced that he has formed a death metal band called THE BLOODLESS, which will feature members of the band he played in before ALESTORM along with SWASHBUCKLE vocalist Pat Henry.
This is the second time WILSON has quit ALESTORM, following a brief hiatus in 2008. Despite being with the band since their signing to Napalm Records, scheduling conflicts resulted in the drums to both their albums to date being recorded by a session musician.
