Film legend Christopher Lee is participating in a symphonic metal album project called CHARLEMANGE, due to be released on March 15th. CHARLEMANGE will tell the story of the ancient Roman king of the same name. 87-year-old Lee, who has worked with MANOWAR and RHAPSODY OF FIRE, will both sing and provide narration on the project, playing the role of Charlemagne himself.
The music for the project has been written by Marco Sabiu, who has worked with Luciano Pavarotti and Ennio Morricone, as well as pop acts like Take That and Kylie Minogue.
